Group Effort Foundation provides warm and welcoming residential treatment facilities for adolescent males. While the typical stay is for four to six months, residents occasionally remain for up to two years, depending on circumstances. Founded in 2005, the company is accredited by The Council of Accreditation (COA) and offers three facilities in Tennessee and one in Kentucky.
So what is the one thing more than anything else that makes Group Effort residents so successful? The staff. Staff members are chosen not only for their experience, education and skills, but for their hearts. Every staff member at Group Effort truly cares for these young men. Each staff member goes the extra mile to make them feel accepted as part of the Group Effort family — with the goal of reuniting them with their own strengthened family. There may be good days and there may be hard days, but every day our staff dedicates themselves to helping these youths gain the skills they need to make better choices, to set and achieve goals, and to become empowered.
And while the company’s evidence-based programs provide an excellent foundation, the staff knows that what’s best sometimes requires thinking outside the box — listening, adapting, being creative ...
And while Group Effort Foundation’s in-house school system consistently produces a high ratio of high-school graduates, the foundation’s teachers know that their ability to empower residents with life skills, social skills and confidence is even more important. Sometimes that means being firm, fair, disciplined and consistent. And sometimes that means listening, laughing and just having fun!
The strong and inspiring staff at Group Effort Foundation knows that — in the big picture — we’re all in this together.
One strong. All stronger.
